JAY-Z during a recent interview reveals again he cheated on his wife and music star, Beyonce.
JAY-Z talks about cheating on Beyonce in a new interview.
The American rap idol spoke about this when he had a chance for an interview with Dean Baquet from The New York Times
on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. During the interview, he explained why
he cheated on Beyonce and how they both used therapy to avoid divorce.
"You
have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into
survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions. So, even with
women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can't connect. ... In my
case, like, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there:
infidelity," he said.
Jay
Z tells also of how memories from the past made him push away Beyonce and
led to his cheating on her. He revealed that he and Beyonce were
planning to do a joint album which will serve as a form of therapy but
her Lemonade album came out before the joint album they were working on.
"We
still have a lot of that music. And this is what it became. There was
never a point where it was like, 'I’m making this album.' I was right
there the entire time," he added.
He went on to explain how the music made both of them uncomfortable.
"But
the best place in the hurricane is in the middle of it. The best place
is right in the middle of the pain. And that's where we were sitting.
And it was uncomfortable. And we had a lot of conversations. [I was]
really proud of the music she made, and she was really proud of the art I
released. And, you know, at the end of the day we really have a healthy
respect for one another's craft. I think she's amazing," he explained.
It would be recalled that back in 2014 during the MET Gala, Beyonce’s younger sister Solange attacked
Jay Z in the elevator. Beyonce’s bodyguard restrained her but the pop
star did nothing to stop her sister from attacking her husband.
It was rumoured that Solange attacked Jay Z because she found out that he was seeing Rachel Roy on the side. It was also said that Solange had an argument with Roy at the event before attacking Jay Z.
With
the release of her new album ‘Lemonade’ on April 23, 2016, Beyonce
sprinkled a lot of lyrics about cheating and infidelity in the songs.
The Beyhive ran with the musical lines and came up with the theory that
Beyonce was airing out her husband as a cheat.
