WHY I MISSED BANKY W'S WEDDING - WIZKID
A great deal of wizkid’s thousands of followers on social
media have questioned why he missed his former label boss’ wedding held in cape town, south Africa.
The lovebirds,
Banky and Adesua, after having held their traditional wedding in the beautiful
city of Lagos, Nigeria, heads on to south Africa to complete the sweet feel of
their fairy tale days ago. Wizkid however, missed the traditional wedding and
was expected to show up at the white wedding along side other delectable acts
and celebrities from Nigeria, but he was absent.
According to the popular Nigerian musician, his passport was
withheld and so he could not travel to South Africa for the white wedding like
he promised after missing the traditional wedding at Victoria Island, Lagos.
To explain his absence in South Africa, Wizkid wrote:
“God bless my big bro @bankywellington and our new wife
@adesuaetomi ❤️ God will
bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life
together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad, But this
is not about me, its abt you! Enjoy ! Happiness and love forever ! ❤️❤️

He soon had the
questions from his fans up his neck and gave his explanation in a tweet,
Apologizing humbly for having missed the big day in the tweet screenshot below.
